Chêne Bleu - Domaine de la Verrière
Le "Chêne Bleu" is a vineyard surrounded by forests of Séguret, Sablet, near the Mont Ventoux; It is coupled with the Verrière, a medieval residence, former cloister transformed in the past by a master glassmaker (Aliot de Montvin, predestined name and first name which will be taken over for one of the cuvées), bought in 1994 by financier Xavier Rolet and tastefully restored by his wife, Nicole Rolet, Grenache's Past Symposium and G-Day!
Le Chêne Bleu exists and indeed, it is a peculiarity of the domain which confers to him a mysterious character and a lot of charm..
The "real" tasting room includes tables designed by Nicole Rolet and created to measure, with integrated lamps and evacuation (to empty the spittoons ...), but also fun touches "deco", coaster.
At the tasting, the wines are globally balanced, supple, with freshness, linked to the soil and to the altitude (more than 500 m). Only two of them are in the Ventoux appellation: rosé and red Astralabe; The others are in PGI, mostly Meditterranean.
