AU COEUR DE PARIS, VISITEZ LES DERNIERS VESTIGES DU PALAIS DE LA CITÉ, ANCIENNE RÉSIDENCE DES ROIS DE FRANCE. Inscrits au patrimoine mondial de l'Unesco, la Conciergerie et la Sainte-Chapelle se situent sur l'Ile de la Cité, considérée comme l'antique berceau de la capitale.  LA CONCIERGERIE reste l'un des derniers témoignages de l'architecture des XIIIe et XIVe siècle au sein de la capitale. Construit à partir du XIIIe siècle en tant que Palais Royal, le site fut transformé en prison quand la famille royale a déménagé dans les environs plus luxueux du Louvre et de Vincennes. Surnommée "l'antichambre de la guillotine" durant la Révolution, vous y visiterez notamment l'ancien tribunal situé dans la Grande Salle et arpenterez les cellules autrefois réservées aux "ennemis de la République". A la fin du XVIIème siècle, de nombreux prévenus du tribunal révolutionnaire furent incarcérés à la prison de la Conciergerie, dont Marie-Antoinette.  Vous visiterez ensuite LA SAINTE-CHAPELLE, véritable trésor d'archecture du mouvement gothique. Construite en seulement 7 ans, elle est notamment reconnue pour avoir abrité les Saintes-Reliques, dont la Couronne d'Epines du Christ. Découvrez les magnifiques vitraux de l'édifice qui retracent les 1113 scènes de l'Ancien et du Nouveau Testament.  Admirez les nombreuses couleurs qui fusent de ces vitraux et illuminent la chapelle de lumière.  Profitez de ce billet jumelé pour découvrir les derniers témoignages du Palais de la Cité !
