Le célèbre café Les Deux Magots a d’abord été fréquenté par Verlaine, Rimbaud et Mallarmé, avant de devenir le quartier général des surréalistes en 1925 avec Picasso, Saint-Exupéry, Hemingway ou Jean Giraudoux. Dans les années 1950, Jean-Paul Sartre et Simone de Beauvoir y écrivaient deux heures tous les jours. Aujourd'hui, ce café reste la star du Quartier latin avec son voisin le Café de Flore.
