Maison Eco-citoyenne
The Maison écocitoyenne is an educational and fun space to experience and experience eco-citizenship on a daily basis.
Open Tuesday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. (and until 8 p.m. on Thursdays), it is a unique place that provides the keys to action!
A permanent exhibition on 3 main themes: Sustainable housing, Ecocitizens on a daily basis, Our "natural" environments.
Temporary exhibitions: an exhibition created by the Maison écocitoyenne each year (sustainable food, biodiversity, responsible fashion, food waste, eco-mobility, etc.) and hosting exhibitions from other institutions (e.g. hosting the Jardiner la City within the framework of Agora 2017)
Regular meetings: practical workshops (bicycle repair, sewing, making cosmetics, discovering vegetarian cuisine, making ecological household products) and guided walks on nature in the city.
Two two-hour Energy Info Space hotlines each week.
Ephemeral meetings: Conferences, debates, shows, screenings… a program built with associations, companies and specialized partners.
A resource area: books and magazines to be consulted on site, address book of local initiatives, documentation to take away (Bordeaux metropolis, Adème)
An interactive touch table: discovering eco-friendly gestures to integrate into your daily life by playing. It also offers an agenda, good addresses and games. Whether you are desperate for the environment, perplexed, suspicious or downright disenchanted, you will certainly find some avenues to follow for a greener and more economical daily life!
