The Commelles Ponds are composed of 4 ponds totalling 100 acres of water in the heart of the Chantilly forest. These ponds were created in the 13th century by monks from the Chaalis Abbey to breed fish and bring water to the mills. Today 6 parkings are available to visitors as well as a small snack bar.
