VISITEZ UNE RÉSIDENCE ROYALE DATANT DU MOYEN-AGE QUI REGROUPE À LA FOIS UN BÂTIMENT FORTIFIÉ ET UN BÂTIMENT RELIGIEUX AUX PORTES DE PARIS !
Résidence royale érigée du XIIe au XVIIIe siècle, le château de Vincennes a conservé son enceinte, ses tours médiévales, sa Sainte-Chapelle et son donjon du XIVe siècle.
Le donjon, datant du XIVe siècle, est le plus haut d’Europe et servit de prison pendant plus de 400 ans. Parmi ses détenus, on compte notamment Nicolas Fouquet, le Marquis de Sade, Mirabeau…
La Sainte-Chapelle, quant à elle, fut construite à partir de 1379 et présente un décor remarquable qui fait de l'édifice un bâtiment religieux d’exception.
