Owned by the Catholic University of Louvain, the Bois de Lauzelle is a private forest with multiple purposes: forestry site, scientific study, conservation of nature, public reception and education.

Covering numerous valleys of various orientations, the Bois de Lauzelle offers a diversity of landscapes. This exceptional site was classified in 1994 and is now integrated into the Natura2000 network.

Thematic walks are regularly organised by the tourist office/inforville.
