Ouvert depuis 1804, le cimetière du Père Lachaise est désormais connu de tous pour les nombreuses célébrités qu'il héberge, mais aussi pour la diversité d'architecture des différentes sépultures. Il s’agit de la nécropole la plus prestigieuse et la plus visitée de Paris. Située dans le 20e arrondissement de la capitale, elle s’étend sur 44 hectares et compte près de 70 000 concessions regroupant tous les styles de l'art funéraire.
