Informazioni

Le Centre culturel Voce (Centru Culturale Voce) est né de la fusion de deux associations :

  • E Voce di u Cumune, créée en 1978 afin de retrouver les racines musicales corses
  • Festivoce, créée en 1991 pour la création et la diffusion d'œuvres polyphoniques et instrumentales traditionnelles. En 2000 le festival Festivoce a été rebaptisé Estivoce.

Un premier opéra Corse I Sonnj Sunadori fut donné en 1979 ; il est suivi de A passione di Ghjesù à Calenzana en 1980 et à Corbara en 1990.

Le domaine de ses recherches concerne le chant, les pratiques cantorales, les factures et pratiques instrumentales, ainsi que la poésie improvisée (chjama e rispondi). Au fil du temps, de nouvelles influences culturelles ont fait leur apparition au sein du festival : chants sacrés, chansons napolitaines et depuis peu, complétés par des ateliers découvertes ouverts au public.

Afin de pouvoir accueillir les concerts, même hors période de festival, un auditorium a été créé dans le village de Pigna. Mais devant l'ampleur croissante de l'évènement, de nouveaux lieux de concerts sont prévus dans les ruelles, places, église, chapelle, etc.

Le festival Estivoce 2011 s'est déroulé du 9 au 13 juillet.

Le Centre Culturel Voce adhère au Centre de Musiques Traditionnelles de Corse (CMTC) et à la Fédération des Associations de Musiques et de Danses Traditionnelles (FAMDT). Il est aujourd'hui une entreprise inscrite au Répertoire des métiers avec la licence d'Entrepreneur de spectacle de 1e catégorie.
